Mandi Dickey is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience, focusing on concussion management. Her journey into this specialty was profoundly influenced by her own experience with traumatic brain injury (TBI), which steered her career towards understanding and treating concussion and TBI.
Mandi’s approach to healthcare is deeply rooted in her commitment to exploring both traditional and innovative treatment methodologies. She has a particular interest in combining standard medical treatments with nontraditional therapies, such as red light therapy and transcranial laser treatment, which she has seen produce remarkable results in both her own recovery and her patients’.
Her dedication to her field is complemented by her personal life, where she enjoys hiking, camping, and engaging in nature photography. She also finds joy in singing and spending quality outdoor time with her family.
Additionally, Mandi shares her passion for brain health on her podcast, “Brain Wellness – the Podcast,” where she discusses a variety of health and wellness topics.
