Kimberly Kinsella, DNP earned her degree at Kansas State and the University of Kansas. Her specialty is neurology with particular interest in headaches (including Botox for migraines), stroke, and memory loss.
Ask Kimberly why she chose her field and she’ll tell you, “Neurology is fascinating, complex, and challenging. I enjoy supporting patients while we investigate their symptoms and create a plan of care.” One such success story was Kimberly assisting a patient with chronic migraines. After evaluating her environmental and lifestyle factors, plus tweaking her medications, she received a “Migraine Warrior” pin from the grateful patient who now lives without the constant fear and interruption of migraines.
MCN loves having Kimberly at the clinic, and the feeling is mutual. “I love the autonomy of a private practice and have loved all the staff starting back with the interview process,” she says.
Kimberly believes that you need to really know yourself and how you handle stress when working on healthy habits and good overall health. It takes time and unique, personal goals to be successful – this looks different for each person.
As a child, one of Kimberly’s favorite hobbies was performing in show choir and musicals. You just might hear her humming away as she sets about gardening, participating in outdoor activities with her family, engaging in interior design, or traveling about.
