Kate Monroe, P.T. Minneapolis Neurology Clinic

Kate Monroe is a Board-Certified Neurologic Physical Therapist at the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology, located in Edina. With extensive experience in the field, Kate has developed profound expertise in treating neurological conditions, mentoring physical therapy students, and leading healthcare teams at prominent institutions on the East Coast.

Kate discovered her passion for neurology during a clinical rotation at the spinal cord injury rehab unit at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. Her career path led her to positions at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Saddlebrook, NJ, and Bellevue Hospital in New York, NY, where she honed her skills and deepened her commitment to neurologic care.

Patient Care Philosophy:
Kate is dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. She emphasizes active, patient-centered care, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to achieve each patient’s individual goals. Education is a cornerstone of her practice, as she believes in empowering patients to manage their conditions independently.

“I went into physical therapy so that I could heal patients with exercise! It’s one of the health professions where you get to spend a lot of time with your patients, which helps you to get to know them and best treat them,” said Kate.

Kate chose the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology for its supportive environment that allows her to provide the highest level of care. The clinic’s commitment to patient well-being and staff collaboration made it the perfect fit for her skills and values.
