Harry Leeds, DNP, APRN, is a board-certified neurology clinician with clinical interests in dementia and headache medicine. He provides comprehensive neurological care and works with patients experiencing a range of neurological conditions.

Harry joined the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology because of the rapidly evolving field of neurology and the promising treatments now available for many neurological conditions. He values working in a collaborative environment where a strong team can support patients through complex neurological challenges and help improve quality of life.

He chose neurology because neurological conditions often affect not only the individual but also their family and community. 

Harry believes that thoughtful, holistic neurological care can make a meaningful difference for patients and those who support them.

One patient experience that continues to inspire him involved a young man who had lost hope after a severe illness and initially refused to eat, walk, or speak. Weeks later, with the support of a dedicated care team, Harry watched the same patient walk out of the hospital on his own while ordering a ride on his phone and eating a candy bar. The experience reinforced his belief that recovery is possible and that patients benefit from compassionate care and persistence.

Harry speaks intermediate Russian

Outside of the clinic, Harry enjoys traveling, especially throughout Eastern Europe, and considers himself an adventurous eater. He enjoys cooking with his daughter and teaching her Russian. Earlier in his career, he also had the unique opportunity to teach a poetry class in Kazakhstan.

His personal philosophy on health is simple: choose healthy habits that are sustainable. Whether it’s eating vegetables you enjoy or committing to exercise you will actually do each day, he believes consistency and balance are key to long-term health.
