Zach Ekstein is a board-certified Physician Assistant providing general neurology care at the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology in Golden Valley and Maple Grove.

He has clinical interests in multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and migraine management.

Zach joined MCN because of its strong reputation for excellence in outpatient neurology and its patient-centered, evidence-based approach to care. He values working in a collaborative environment where providers partner closely with patients to create thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.

He chose neurology because it combines complex problem-solving with long-term patient relationships. 

Zach appreciates the challenge of diagnosing neurological conditions and finds it especially rewarding when clear communication and careful evaluation help patients better understand and manage their symptoms.

Outside the clinic, Zach enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. He plays tennis, strength trains regularly, and recently learned to ski as an adult. He is also a Minnesota Timberwolves fan who enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

With a background in exercise physiology, Zach believes consistent routines, balanced nutrition, quality sleep, and regular movement are key to overall health and well-being.
