Lexi Liethen is an Advanced Practice Provider specializing in sleep medicine at the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology. She sees patients at the Maple Grove location, working with adults experiencing sleep-related conditions such as sleep apnea and insomnia.

Board certified in 2025, Lexi earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed her Physician Assistant training at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Lexi believes patient care is a partnership. She takes time to listen, educate, and collaborate with patients to create treatment plans that align with each individual’s lifestyle. She chose to join the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology because of its strong reputation for excellent patient care and its collaborative, small-team environment that supports learning and connection.

Lexi was drawn to sleep medicine after seeing the impact chronic sleep conditions had on her own family members. She understands how poor sleep can affect energy, focus, relationships, and overall quality of life, and she is motivated by the meaningful improvements that effective sleep treatment can provide.

Outside the clinic, Lexi enjoys spending time with her family, watching and playing sports, boating on rivers and lakes, and going to the movies with friends. A fun fact about Lexi is that she has been fishing with her dad and brothers since she was four years old.

Lexi’s personal approach to health focuses on sustainability. She encourages patients to incorporate healthy choices into their everyday lives in ways that feel realistic and supportive, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to wellness.
