Jessica Piché, M.D., completed her undergraduate studies at Augustana University. She later pursued her passion for medicine at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. After completing medical school, Dr. Piché continued her training with a rigorous residency program at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Piché’s grandmother was diagnosed with MS, and this familial connection sparked her interest and commitment to the field. In response, she actively engaged with the MS Society, participating in their national bike ride for several years. This involvement further ignited her passion for understanding the complexities of the disease.
Over time, Dr. Piché witnessed significant advancements and breakthroughs in MS research. Beyond her responsibilities in the medical field, Dr. Piché enjoys an active lifestyle which includes taking walks with her dog, going for bike rides, and occasionally indulging in a game of tennis–with pickleball on the horizon. The rest of her free time is dedicated to playing with her little one. And an intriguing tidbit about Dr. Piché: she has an identical twin.
