Humera Hassan, NP is a family nurse practitioner with specific interest in headaches, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and epilepsy. She attended St. Catherine University in Minnesota for her undergrad and The University of Texas – Arlington for her Masters. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.
The connections built while treating chronic patients and assisting in their overall health is what Humera most enjoys about her role in neurology. It is these relationships that brought her to MCN – the feel of a smaller clinic which encourages such bonds and allows for her to have more input into her patients’ care.
Her guideline to good health is a short, simple list: you are what you eat, move about regularly even if only walking, and maintain a consistent sleep routine.
Humera keeps a busy schedule outside of the office as well, including traveling, baking, creating DIY projects, volunteering within her community and, of course, spending time with her husband and three kids.
