Akram Dastagir, MD is board-certified in headache medicine and fellowship-trained in multiple sclerosis. Although much of his practice focuses on these conditions, he also likes to work with other neurology issues such as seizures, neuropathy, and Parkinson’s disease. He attended Deccan College of Medical Sciences and is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.
Dr. Dastagir’s belief that MCN is one of the best neurology groups in the country is what directed him to us. Our business model encourages his practice of providing individualized and compassionate care to all his patients and allows him to build long-term relationships with them.

Dr. Dastagir believes that sound sleep habits and regularly staying active are imperative to good overall health.
Having been a player on his college basketball team, Dr. Dastagir remains a devoted hoops fan. Kept happily busy by his three children, he also enjoys traveling, frequenting the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and trying different types of foods.
