Dr. Lisa Nippoldt-Baca, PsyD is a licensed psychologist focusing on clinical neuropsychology. Her specialties include concussions, traumatic brain injuries, epilepsy, genetic and developmental disorders, and attentional and learning disorders.
On choosing her career focus, she says, “I have always been interested in the brain and how it functions, and neuropsychology allows me to do this daily. I love solving the puzzle of how one’s brain functioning impacts their psychology and everyday life.”
Dr. Nippoldt-Baca chose to join MCN for its team approach and numerous resources when treating patients, plus the warm and supportive environment it provides.
Regarding overall health, Dr. Nippoldt-Baca recommends doing something every day that makes you smile. Activities outside of the clinic that make her smile include spending time with friends and family, cheering on her kids at their sports, and golfing.
Fun fact: Dr. Nippoldt-Baca worked as a steel mill laborer while pursuing her degrees!
It was great to find a new source of support and problem solving after we felt like we were at the end of that road. We look forward to receiving the full results. Given the pandemic and my child’s health, we had an unusual circumstance. The staff was VERY on top of all safety protocols and explained everything thoroughly. The results were mailed in expected amount of time. We were very thankful for the provider being able to open up. Thank you!! I know that she has multiple patients, but they way she spoke to me and my son it made me feel like we were her only patient that she was taking care of. She was wonderful!! Dr. Nippoldt-Baca and Amy were extremely compassionate and caring to my 2 girls. Their insight into their learning styles is going to be so beneficial to them as the move ahead in their academic careers. I wish I would have done this sooner and would advocate that all children should have this assessment done at a certain point in their development.
