Practice Focus
Do you want to be treated by your doctor as more than a brain walking on two legs? My evaluations are comprehensive and thorough; personalized to your specific needs, not just as a patient, but as a person. I provide you with detailed feedback about your performance and take the time to address your questions and concerns. My goal is to have you leave my office, not only with answers, but with hope.
Dr. Castro is one of the few bilingual Spanish/English neuropsychologist in the Midwest. She is able to provide assessment and consultation services in Spanish without the need of an interpreter. She has expertise in cultural neuropsychology, particularly in the evaluation of bilinguals and Hispanics/Latinos. Dr. Castro has experience working with international patients from the Caribbean, South America, Mexico, Central America, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
Patient Testimonials
Dr. Castro was very helpful; laid out my diagnosis in terms I could understand. I look forward to my next visit with Dr. Dorland, who also takes the time to listen. Pre appointment I was dreading the four hour testing. I found the time went by much quicker than anticipated. My test administrator Tyler was comfortable to work with. Even though I had difficulty with some of the test Tyler remained non judgmental and encouraging. Dr. Castro was a great listener and easy to talk to during my interview both before and after the test. She also was very knowledgeable and offered good advice. A thorough summary was submitted to my patient portal in a timely manner for my review. Looking forward to my next trip here.
