Dustin Harker, M.D.

Dustin Harker, M.D.

HARKER 8X10I take seriously the wording of my board certification certificate: I am a diplomat for Neurology. I will use my skills, knowledge, and experience to inform and educate Neurology patients and the larger community, and strive to heal those with neurologic disease.

My other roles and experiences will provide perspective and empathy in my role as a physician. For example, my international exposure may make it easier to connect with those from different cultures and backgrounds, my missionary experiences will facilitate communication and an emphasis on finding common ground, my lifelong involvement in team sports will facilitate cooperation and perseverance, and my role as the father of several children will prompt continued patience and service. My experiences outside of work will provide the understanding and context necessary to be an effective physician and participate more fully in the healing of both hearts and minds. As such, I hope to become a colleague of choice, and to set an example that my children can follow.
